• You can get sponsored business and marketing consulting from the Economic Ministry – between 15 to 20 hours – with a professional consultant.
• The hourly fee is only 80 NIS instead of the regular price of 400 NIS for a private consultant.

How to Register Your Business in Israel

  1. Arrive at the VAT office in the city where you live. Sometimes, you have to go back again to bring missing documents, so it’s worth being well-prepared with everything you need.
  2. After the VAT office, you must go to the income tax office.
  3. After the income tax office, you must go to the national insurance (Bituach Leumi) office. This can take many hours over a few days.

OR

An accountant will do this in a few minutes. They submit all the documents through the VAT, income tax, and social security sites. They usually charge between 700 and 800 Shekels.

OR

We will register your business FREE of charge (Osek Patur or Osek Murshe) and without obligation to work with our accountant. However, if you choose to work with our accountant, they will charge an amount when submitting your tax reports.

Income Tax Benefits

• Every Oleh/Olah is entitled to a tax benefit for the first 42 months after making Aliyah.

• In the first 18 months of immigration, you are entitled to a tax benefit of 3 credit points per month, which reduces your monthly tax liability by NIS 726.

• In the following 12 months, you receive 2 credit points, i.e., a monthly tax benefit of 484 NIS.

• You are entitled to one credit point – 242 NIS- per month for the next 12 months.

• These credit points are in addition to the credit points that every Israeli resident is entitled to.

• If you are an Oleh/Olah or a returning minor and have no income or earn less than NIS 528 up to 6 months from the date of immigration, you don’t need to pay health insurance tax (Kupat Holim).
